Incase you havent noticed, every airline is charging, and most more than airtran are, for baggage fees. When the planes are sitting on the ground, they are under strict time by air traffic control, NOT AIRTRAN OR THE AIRLINE ITSSELF. Every passanger has to be seated with a seatbelt on before the plans doors can close.Author: Beebs

If anyone from AirTran reads these complaints, they should really look into Atlanta, it seems to be a huge problem!! Flew from Boston to Atlanta, staff was very friendly. One of our bags was slightly over weight, the attendant asked if we wanted to transfer some items to another lighter bag so we didn't have to pay the upcharge.

AirTran delayed the flight and passengers had to board a new plane. This flight left Akron/Canton at 11:00am and we arrived in Atlanta at 12:23pm. This delay caused me to miss my connecting flight to Jacksonville resulting in a 6 1/2 hr layover in Atlanta.
