Maybe walking on eggshells wasn't the best policy but at least now they can blame it on the loudmouth neighbor and I can sit in peace without the dogs barking out of depression, which is the worst type of dog issue.

But if the dog continues to bark, be ready to file a criminal complaint. Animal control will go out two times, but the third time you call you'll have to file a criminal complaint.
