My Asus monitor V2249HE is a year old and suddenly developed a big black mark on the screen. Sent a complaint to Asus with a photo of the screen and their reply was that the screen was cracked. I pointed out there was no crack at all. They responded the monitor was damaged so they couldn't replace it under the warranty. Absolute rubbish.

They have to be aware of this defect with that many complaints. All I can say is do your research on line & if you then decide to purchase an Asus with their complaints & bad customer service you are a fool.

I'm building pc's on Asus for almost 20 years now, last 5 years lot of complaints about performance, hard drive keeps on spinning, booting takes 20 minutes and more. Two years ago i bought a ROG laptop. Experience the same issues, this thing is dramaticly slow, a goot heating device though.
