This was completed in approximately late April, early May. At that time, we paid Atlas Asphalt one-half of the amount due as the balance was due on completion.

Still, Atlas never recalled the Chalet shingles and continued to sell them until 2010. Is This a Class Action? The lawsuits being filed against Atlas are individual lawsuits – and not class actions.

I contacted atlas and after sending a second email, I called and spoke to a claims rep. She stated that since the insurance company declared the roof a total loss, ATLAS considered that, storm damage and stated the shingles were not covered under storm damage.
