    https://www.workfromhomewatchdog.com/is-authorhouse-com-a-scam/
Mar 12, 2012 · It doesn’t take long to find complaints from authors who have put their trust in such publishing websites. The problem with these companies such as Authorhouse.com is that they are aimed at the unwary. They quote how easy it is to publish your book and make sales, but what they don’t tell you is that you do not own the rights to that book.

Authorhouse used to be a top of the line subsidy publisher that read your material from cover to cover before agreeing to publish it. They would not just publish any piece of garbage, which annoyed many a wannabe author. I've had four books published with AH up until 2011, and I was handled in a very organized fashion.1.5/5(23)

AuthorHouse Review Self-Publishing Review

    https://www.selfpublishingreview.com/2009/02/authorhouse-review/
AuthorHouse is one of the best known, and most widely-used, print on demand self-publishers, but it did not begin so auspiciously. http://www.authors.com/group/selfpublishing/forum/topics/problem-with-my-publisher
Dec 12, 2011 · I thought I had made a good choice with my publisher, AuthorHouse. It was $2000 for print on demand for hardcover, paperback, and ebooks. Then, I found out a few surprises...like besides listing your book with wholesalers and online bookstores, and advertising your book on their website, they do pretty much nothing in the way of promoting your work.
