Apr 23, 2018 · Azek decking, TimberTech decking, and Trex decking have solved most of these issues. 8-10 years ago fading was a major problem, but the newer, higher end boards do not fade much (it’s literally part of their warranties). Mold is not an issue with Azek decking as the product is all PVC.

Oct 05, 2011 · If you DON'T fasten as Azek recommends, you will have problems. I've seen several decks built by "deck contractors" where the fascia is warping and buckling because it wasn't done correctly. You have to be very careful trying to talk a client out of a product they want to use.
