Feb 23, 2012 · Balsam HIll has terrible customer services if a produce is defective. Do not do business with this company. We received a tree that was so wobbly at the top that it would have been unsafe, the pins would not hold in the stand, and the tree looked sawed off at eye level.

Nov 29, 2015 · I believe Balsam Hill had an "up to 70% off" sale after Christmas, and they're running an "up to 50% off" Black Friday sale right now. The sales don't really mean anything because I don't think Balsam Hill ever sells their trees at "full price." Just for reference, it looks like Balsam Hill is selling our tree for $399 right now.

Many of those who submitted complaints to the website I found said they tried to take advantage of the warranty, but that’s when the customer service reps either ignored them or treated them badly. Based on my own experience and the complaints I read online after our tree lights failed, I won’t be buying anything else from Balsam Hill.
