Nov 27, 2011 · I took the Bsnl evdo card on rent today in Hyderabad.In HimayatNagar after a lot of adjustment I am getting 4 bars signal.But speeds are not consistent. Though once I got 2mbps for 30seconds the speed is always around 25-40kBps.

Mar 14, 2008 · EVDO comes in both versions---PCMCIA & USB(for desktop etc).as for going with EVDO confirm that your area has EVDO high speed network(avg 1mbps) instead of simple CDMA 144kbps as both use same EVDO card.many users have reported that after getting EVDO card they get only 144kbps or lower & not higher speeds as proper equipments are not installed at towers.
