Nov 16, 2011 · CanScribe is a good and supporting school from which to develop your skills, but unless something changes to make this a financially worthwhile career choice, there may be no more CanScribe, nor other schools offering MT courses, able to stay in business, as word gets out concerning the sad direction this industry is taking.

Well, 'Just Get To Work, ' if you're sick of all the whining going on, why on earth do you keep logging in to this site. Surely, for someone who is an MT who works hard, I would think you would have better things to do than read the Accentus Complaints Board.

Jan 06, 2009 · I did a comparison between the two & it would cost AT LEAST $5,100 (not including the extra cost for an editing course b/c CanScribe does NOT teach it) to get everything from CanScribe that CareerStep includes for approx $3,900. (only 'extra' charge is $75 for EXTRA REAL audio files for extra practice. CanScribe charges $250 for the same thing)

Pros. I love working for Accentus/Nuance! I have read some previous posts and if you work 25 hours a week and you only average 10 minutes an hour then you obviously have not taken advantage of everything the company is offering, especially if you have been there almost 5 years. 6 months in sure I only did 10 minutes an hour.4/5
