Feb 16, 2020 · Carvedilol is a somewhat difficult beta blocker to get used to in your system. I have been taking 3.125 mg (morning and evening) since having a heart attack 5yrs ago. It helped improve my EF from 40 to 55. I also walk the treadmill 40 min daily, 5 or 6 days a week.3/5(19)

I did have side effects however. I was tired all the time and had ED sometimes. After half a year it stopped working and my blood pressure was high again (160s/90s) so my hypertension specialist switched me to Coreg. After reading the reviews here before taking it I was horrified.
