Comment: Celebrex has been a helpful long term medication for my degenerative conditions. The arthritis pain in my knees has been reduced and has allowed me to move without pain. This drug is not for short term relief. In order to get the maximum benefit, expect to take it for 8-12 weeks.

Sleepiness (usually a couple of hours) especially if you eat anything at all, a yogurt can knock you out for a while. No eat - no problem. Celebrex was prescribed to replace steroids, it worked reasonably well to start with but after about 10 years, seems to be failing to do much.
