Jan 09, 2009 · I reported both Kim and Brock to Century Tel via e mail and was ignored. On 11/19/08 I returned a call to Century Tel's 888# hopeful it was about those complaints and was greeted by Sharon, who was only demanding the full amount AND who again refused to give my any information for how to contact their legal department.

It ranked 12th out of 16 providers analyzed in the Federal Communication Commission’s (FCC) 2018 report for actual-to-advertised speed performance. 1 That’s not great. However, CenturyLink still ranked above other DSL providers Frontier and Cincinnati Bell in that same report.4/5

Century Tel is a terrible provider with slow service and very slow response. Internet is out about 25% of the Time. An hour on the phone will get you a tech in 2-5 days who will tell you that they couldn’t find any problems. Rinse and repeat. They simply would not be in business if there was any other provider or competition. Zero stars.
