Dec 15, 2010 · When I called them to speak about it, cheapoair blamed it all on the "3rd party insurance" I'm here to tell you that if you sell a product, you have some responsibility for it. To me this is false advertising, and a very shady business practice. I have filed complaints with the BBB.org, and the Federal Trade Commission.

Yes, add insurance to my flight order. What it didn't say, is that trip cancellation is only covered under medical emergencies. I have purchased insurance through delta, aa, airtran, sw air, and never had a problem. Not to mention, insurance through most of those is $15 to $20, I paid $30 for insurance through cheapoair.com and got less coverage.

Avoid CheapOair. My wife and I booked a roundtrip flight from Bordeaux to Barcelona for February 13-17 of this year. Alas, when we arrived at the Bordeaux airport we were told by Vueling that our flight had been cancelled and that we had been rescheduled on a flight two days later, February 15. We also told that Vueling had received notification from CheapOair that we had approved of this change.
