Nov 14, 2010 · Well, Krown does eventually wear/wash off hence the annual application. But, the key is to get the buildup of greasy stuff like you mentioned your Jimmy had. This protects the metal from rusting. My Krown dealer said to bring my truck in at the 6 month point for the first couple of years for a free touch up spray of the underside of the truck.

Nov 30, 2017 · I just haven't seen any "evidence" that rustproofing is worth it; everyone just says to do it out of paranoia/fear. Again, I'm not saying the car won't rust without rustproofing, I'm just saying these days cars will more likely be out of your possession/inoperable by the time rust does enough damage to the vehicle to warrant protecting against it.
