2008 Nissan Sentra No major complaints. For a 10 year old car it runs pretty well. There are some minor issues every now and again, but the car has not needed any major repairs. There are a few odd noises, but nothing that affects the safety of the vehicle. No major complaints, overall a reliable car.

Frustrated. — The transmission on my 2008 Nissan Sentra went out in 2010 at 65,000 miles, losing all power while I was on the freeway. Very scary scenario. Found out they'd just extended the warranty from 60,000 to 120,000 miles, so they replaced my transmission for free, though I had to pay for my own hotel (was out of town) and miss a day of work.Ratings: 38

I went to the Nissan dealership where I had purchased the vehicle and noted that these auto dimming mirrors were 10.5 inches wide as opposed to the standard day/nights 9.5 inches on other 2008 Sentra. I advised the service manager of this and he and others verified that all the Sentra with this option had the same too large mirror.8.9/10

In 2008 I purchased a new 2008 Nissan Sentra. Following the purchase I have incurred numerous issues and safety hazards. The vehicle began jerking during acceleration 3 months after purchase, I informed dealership of issue and was informed that nothing was defective within the vehicle. 11 months following initial diagnose transmission was replaced 11 months after.3.7/10

2008 Nissan Sentra 2.0 S My Nissan sentra is go to vehicle. The seats a super comfortable and lean all the way back so you can just relax in a parking lot or in your driveway listening to music. It is super reliable and easy to maintain. The maintenance on my sentra is super easy. I personally do my own oil changes it is that easy.
