When I approached Plaxo about the unauthorized charges, they stated "after the end of your your annual membership, the subcription was renewed for this Plaxo feature. Since the auto-renewal option was not cancelled in your Account settings page within one year, you would have been charged an annual fee of $49.95 for the Plaxo Premium Suite."
