I was booked into a 4* hotel with Saga for a Christmas break - the hotel was very sub-standard and how it is described as 4* is beyond me. It was scruffy, toilet area frankly disgusting, all areas tired, with marked walls and stained furnishings.

At 89 he had to find his own way back to the hotel in a country where he didn't speak the language.
