Zopa have completely lost their way. When I first joined I was excited to be part of such a vibrant, caring and determined company but that feeling faded over my first year. Bad decisions have been consistently taken, for example changing the tech stack completely - isolating many of the developers who made Zopa what it was. Most have now departed.1/5(97)

Apr 18, 2012 · I assume that you know that Zopa does not lend its own money. It lends money supplied by individual lenders, such as myself. I am a Zopa lender and the rates are competitive because the lenders have to bid against each other to get their money lent out. They are strict with their lending criteria because it is not their money they are lending.
