I was told when I brought a stray cat there by 2 different people that it could be noted that I wanted to receive a call if the decision was made to euthanized because I would adopt it. I would have never left it there if I was told that was not allowed.

Jan 31, 2008 · I found a stray cat and would have kept it, but I already have 2 cats and thought 3 might be too many. I decided to take the cat to the SPCA. Before giving up the cat I asked if a note could be added to the file stating that I want to receive a phone call if for "any reason" the cat had to be put to sleep. She said "yes". I gave my info tto another woman who gladly took my donation.
