It seems irrelevant to them that we wouldn't have been able to drive the car back to the hire place with the damage they claim we inflicted on the tyre. They are currently threatening us with legal action and escalating costs. We will certainly not take the risk of using Sixt again and I would strongly advise anyone against using them.
