Jan 28, 2010 · So we moved into our new home on Jun 1/09. 2 weeks later, a rep convinces my wife to sign some sort of registration form (I was at work) as the rep stated he was from the gas company directly. 2 months later, it appears that Summit Energy is now our Gas and Electricity provider!

Apr 22, 2014 · I went through a cycle of calls from Direct Energy to Summitt and so on all afternoon and just ended up sticking with my mistake chalking it up to lesson learned. Hey, at least I got a couple of free months for my trouble, right? *sigh* Not to mention the professionalism, especially the lack there of, of the technicians at Summitt is a joke.

Rarely a day goes by when someone doesn’t tell me about being tricked into buying gas or electricity by its aggressive and deceptive door-to-door salespeople.
