I switched my electric suppy service to Constellation Energy 20 months ago because of their lower electric rates. In April 2013 I received a renewal email for a 6 month term and I renewed. In November I did not receive a renewal notice by mail or email and that's when the trouble began.

They more than recoup any savings provided on the fixed rate with just one month of a variable rate charge! Constellation Energy uses very unethical and sharp business practices. DO NOT switch to this company; you will get ripped off sooner or later!

May 14, 2013 · Most Recent Customer Complaint. Constellation Energy was added to my ***** bill costing me an additional $121.30 more than 50% increase to my bill with no prior notification. I did not agree to a change in electric providers nor did I receive any notification that I would be automatically enrolled in this program.
