Nov 30, 2019 · 5. The Europcar staff indicated that we could not rent a vehicle unless we accepted an obligatory charge of $118 for Mexican liability insurance 6. Other customers were having similar problems with the staff. Thank you for your suggestion. Alas, I have already been in contact with customer complaints. Was a long, slow, sloth like reply time by Europcar during several email exchanges, where my wife and I provided photographs and our thoughts on the matter. We tried, both feel our opinions weren’t heard, and were told that we were wrong.
