I’ve been taking Diovan HCT for over 10 years. I’m 68 years old and cough, nasal congestion, lots of itching especially on ears, skin rash, and hip pain and fatigue. I’ve been diabetic for 20 years and take several other meds, including metoprolol, levothyroxine and Crestor.

Took Valsartan 40mg for 7 days. Gave me a cough and raised my BP instead of lowering it. My bottom BP number was higher than it was before. +100 which I never had issues with before. And my pulse rate was in the 40’s a couple times. Then one time setting for 15 minutes relaxing my pulse was 78 BP 168/110. So my pulse was erratic too.
