eBookers has terrible customer service and their online booking system is dodgy to say the least. It's hit or miss whether your booking fails and when it does they hold on to your money for quite some time and are very unhelpful in the releasing of your funds. The customer services representatives I dealt with were extremely rude and dismissive.

You can truly see the difference between ebookers and a physical travel agency. 1) Flight booking wasn't transparent. the flight back was lowest class so baggage wasn't included. That has not been communicated by ebookers. 2) 6-7 weeks in advance, I needed some information about the car hire at the destination's airport.

Ebookers offers non-existing hotels, refund process is terrible. We had booked a hotel in Uganda. After 14 hours of connecting flights, and another 4 hours by taxi from the airport through rural Uganda the hotel property did not exist. The hotel was unreachable by phone and email.
