So we had to pay almost 1000 Euro!! And we also lost our 7th day of travel. A few weeks earlier we took a fight from Spain to Germany which cost the 5 of us a total of about 350 Euro and we were there in just over 2 hours!! If you need rail tickets, the true source is Rail Europe. This is the only legitimate place to buy tickets. It took me 25 minutes of waiting on the phone with Rail Europe, but when I spoke to the customer service rep, she was very helpful. You just need to be patient.
