I've found many people on here and couldn't agree more wholeheartedly with "Don't rent with Europcar Dublin".All visitors to Ireland should avoid this company and their underhanded sales and marketing tactics. I wish I had found this forum before renting from Europcar.

EuropCar at Dublin airport are refusing to return deposits for rentals that are denied on the grounds that you do not have an international license, which is not a legal requirement. This is an abuse, according to other car rental companies in Dublin. Do not use #EuropCar or their agents #IrishCarRentals.

Do not rent from Europcar Ireland. I could not agree more with all the one-star reviews for this company. Total bait and switch.
