Europcar Paddington “office” was a horrible experience. We assumed Paddington car park had/was an office location. There was no signage for Europcar in the Paddington car park at all. The phone number for the local office was changed so it was not easy to call them on a loud busy street.

Europcar have taken £58.05 from my credit card without authorisation for reasons or purposes unknown. I rented a car via Holiday Autos on line for a short break 11/9/2011 to 15/09/2011 they subcontracted us to Europcar at Cork Airport, Ireland. I experienced almost exactly the same scam as post #8 but in Barcelona, Spain in July, 2018. 4 weeks after returning the Europcar rental car at the Barcelona Airport, I received an email from Europcar that we must pay $300 for the "damage" we caused. The attached photo showed a hairline scratch on the bottom of the bumper.
