2005 ford freestar recall I have a 2005 ford freestar and didn't know that it had been recalled. I was driving an hour away from my home when coming down an extremely busy offramp the transmission just stopped working. It took me an hour at least to get the van to the side of the road as people were honking and flying down the offramp.
