Mar 31, 2016 · I think based on my experience with GM products I have that right. I also came here because there are currently legitimate problems with 8 speed transmissions, that GM can't fix. It is my opinion that if you're looking for a new vehicle, you should avoid the GM's with the 8 speeds until they are solid, or even fixable, and I stated that opinion.
