Been with halifax for years fully employed always have been, I got phone contract for a friend had to be in my name for first 3months whitch he racked up over 1000pound whitch effected my credit rating. Halifax refuse to help me extending overdraft but will offer a credit card so they an earn more money.

Halifax has closed my account month today without notifying me, I only had found out when I was trying to buy a postage label for a item sold on ebay!! Nov 04, 2017 · I think the new overdraft charge is unfair! I can't afford it. I was paying about £40 a month on £2000 planned overdraft. Now the new daily fee of 1p for every £7 overdraft you have now means I pay about £2.85 a day which is over £80 a month.
