HobbyKing asked me for a bank statement for a PayPal transaction. I moved to a new house and placed an order with paypal on their site. The next day they asked for a banking statement to verify.

They gave me an email address of the new courier. I managed to find and contact them via phone and they explained hobbyking is a pain and had received lots of complaints about next day postage fees and not honouring it. Today I have contacted the courier yet again and they tell me it will be delivered today but I will be at work.

One of our common complaints is shipping time. When we need components to finish projects for the magazine, we usually need stuff quickly, if not yesterday and if what we need from HobbyKing is coming from an international warehouse, we know that it could take a while to arrive and I know that you modelers operate with the same impatience.
