Do not use this unscrupulous company. You are misled by thinking you are booking with a hotel room directly and you chose a room, agree a price and are taken to payment page, only after do you seee that they have added a tax charge which was a 25% uplift on price of room and when when you get e mail confirmation do you realise this was a third party.

Jul 21, 2012 · Reservations.com has so many complaints about it from scamming people and fraud that the more powerful option is for everyone who gets scammed to file a credit card dispute with their issuer. I too thought I was booking directly through the hotel. It is deceiptful to impose a $14.95 service fee that was never disclosed to me at the time of booking.

I booked a 1 bedroom through this company, which at the time I thought was the Hotels sight, looks the same. After booking I realized that I had booked on Reservation.com, I was booking in Canada & travelling in Canada & was charged in US dollars, it only shows that at the very bottom left hand side of the site in small print, so my bad for not scrolling to the bottom.
