Nov 11, 2018 · IGS was founded by a former Columbia Gas Executive after he retired. This is a scam but done so under the umbrella of the law. I see approx 75 complaints at first glance about just this subject matter with the Ohio Attorney General. Complaints were for contract procurement fraud, misrepresentation, unsolicited calls etc...

Jun 19, 2013 · IGS Energy rates are historically higher than the rates provided by the utility.just look at the rates offerred by IGS Energy for Nicor in Illinois for the last year. they were higher almost every month. these suppliers will last another couple years at the most,before they are all exposed as mere brokers,and not suppliers at all.

Feb 23, 2012 · I hope this saves you making the same mistake. IGS Energy called in June when I was heating my pool with a therm rate of $1.3999 compared to my local company, NIPSCO's, rate of $1.85. No extra fees, no cancellation cost, no service charge, no contract, I figured I could keep an eye on it & save a little money.
