Sep 06, 2007 · My vet won't fulfill a prescription for the generic heartworm medications, Iverhart Plus because they say it makes dogs sick. My dogs have been on it for over a year with no issues (presribed by another vet). My new vet wants me to buy the much more expensive Heartguard from them; I assume so they receive the profit. I think this is bunk!
