Jan 28, 2014 · In April 2013 we paid a diesel repair shop to install a new C7 300 hp engine and transmission from Jaspers Engines and Transmission. After over $30,000.00 we finally got our truck only to have it to continue to break down constantly. 1st time on the 2nd trip out the truck was parked and the next morning a large pile of oil was under it.

Jun 01, 2007 · When I was underway again, the engines failed again the next year (again under warranty). The dealer said that there was an issue with quality control that Jasper had corrected, but I finally bit the bullet and repowered with new Mercruiser Bravo 3's. My life has been good ever since. One other note on the Jaspers.
