Nov 27, 2017 · Kolbe wont even answer my correspondence. I have read numerous complaints about the same problem with many of their customers with these windows. Kolbe produced a defective product and the consumer has had to pay for it. The ironic part was the dealer suggested I replace all the windows with another kolbe product! Not happening!!1/5(1)

They are older and still look great. The only reason we went with Sierra Pacific was the K-K dealership ceased in Bend and the Sierra windows had similar wood frames.

It also used a compression sash, although and I liked the Semco tilt latch. The Kolbe was rolled form and the Semco was the extruded aluminum, which I thought was much better.
