If you google this title there is a ton of information available about the Accolade lens and other lenses that reduce HOAs or higher order aberrations, more easily understood as the distortion which is found in the periphery of progressive bifocal lenses.

Mar 21, 2014 · Does anyone know what Essilor progressive LensCrafters is using? MVP or AVP? I was shopping LensCrafters today. I picked out a frame and asked for a quote on the lenses. I showed her my prescription. She never asked me a question, just told me the lenses were on sale half price and gave me a reasonable price. I had to ask her what she was giving me.
