Lexus extended recall to 12/17 however the problem is a definite safety issue and there are many complaints on line about this problem. The problem in most cases can arise at 80,000-up miles and cost is prohibitive at about $3500, this should have been a safety recall since there is so much documentation about this problem.10/10
