I decided to check the reviews and was horrified of what people were writing. Had I checked this beforehand, I would have stopped my reservation with Locauto. Maybe I got lucky, maybe it was because it was not a straight booking with Locauto but through Ryanair + Alamo but I can only speak very positively for this experience!

For that reason I'm giving them five stars, as "unmemorable" is what you want from a car rental experience. The worst thing about it was getting sick to my stomach from reading the reviews on this site, so hopefully this review goes some way towards counteracting that.

We are having similar problems with Locauto, we delivered back the car without any problems and they are now retaining £750 for scratches to the bonnet. When the car was returned they were no complaints made. Funnily enough they are unable to provide photographic evidence of scrathes or even matching these "scratches" to the car we hired!
