Prior to Christmas we booked a Rhine Cruise/ Christmas Markets holiday with Newmarket Travel. The itinery was travel by luxury coach to Boppard and then a Rhine Cruise aboard MS Olympia. The cruise part of the holiday was excellent and we cannot fault it. The problems with this holiday was the coach journey, which was absolutely abysmal, the outward journey in total was approx 13 and a half hours.

The shower and toilet was never cleaned and a very poor standard of hygiene. The towels and the bed linen were old and worn. The house keeper and the management were doing a poor job.Also in the restaurant cats everywhere. The first time with Newmarket Holidays and sorry it will be the last.

But maybe they don't give a shit, and it looks likr they could wriggle out of it with the T&Cs. Newmarket Holidays are an absolute con!!! Very bad customer service from the start and complete cock up on the details with having the wrong names sent through, then they had the nerve to charge an additional £220 to have this corrected!!!!!
