On April 1 2017 NHS Fife implemented a revised complaint handling procedure. The revised procedure brings with it a standardised approach to handling complaints across the NHS which complies with Guidance from the Scottish Public Service Ombudsman. It also meets all the requirements and principles of the Patient Rights (Scotland) Act 2011.
