Feb 12, 2018 · Tried to adopt an elderly cat named Max -- Staff at North Shore Animal League impossible to deal with, these people are very weird, they don't do what is in the best interest of the animal, even an elderly homeless cat. North Shore Animal League is a HORRIBLE place to go to if you have your heart set on a particular cat or dog.

I am sure this is not typical but in my research I have found numerous complaints about this very profitable supposed nonprofit whose volunteer’s don’t get paid. While it appears that the person in charge gets paid a lot. I am not the only one to have experience grief from North Shore Animal League.
