North Texas Toll Authority (NTTA) is screwing us big time. We have called multiple times regarding this issue and have now been sent to collections regarding a toll fee that is not ours. We live in California and have never been to Texas, yet we have received 2 different toll violations for a vehicle that is obviously not registered to us.

NTTA is fabricating charges. By the time the charges arrive in the mail, they are several months old, and there is nothing one can do. It doesn't make any difference if you were even out of the area on the day of the charge. The fact that they have a blurry photo of what looks like your license plate, it could have been taken months or years ago.

Mar 07, 2017 · You rent a car, they often say nothing about tolls/charges, you end up in the wrong lane and incur a toll. Bingo! They charge you the fee for every day of the rental. It's just disgusting. If I weren't active on this forum, I'd never know to check on this before I depart with the car, especially in Florida.

May 23, 2016 · NTTA CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT for excessive collection on unpaid tolls. $10 in tolls shouldn't earn $500 in late fees. If you have unpaid tolls from the NTTA (North Texas Transportation Authority) that are 30-days late, you received a notice of deliquency of some sort.
