I am a branch manager at Orkin in the deep south. I find a lot of employees trick themselves into thinking they are hard workers and are being mistreated. You may work 16 hours one day but you tend to forget the other 5 you finished early. My Orkin is a franchise (a larger one, I run 16 counties, and 4 parishes) and my guys work very hard.
