Oct 27, 2010 · If RentSmart's letter of reply threaten action, fees etc. simply reply that it is the PC World representative who has provided misinformation to RentSmart - not you. Further, if Rentsmart do not agree to cancel their invalid rental contract; then, you will take the matter to the ombudsman for their review of this matter.

Payment were £78/month as a result. £78 x 4 years = £3,744 - for a compute that was on sale for £1,499 that I went into PC World with the intention of buying outright. I was persuaded by staff to use the business leasing option provided by RentSmart to spread the costs of just £55/month over 2 years.

I have received a complaint form from FOS and will be returning it to them along with all the correspondence from PC World and Rentsmart. They have promised to look in to this for me. I have also received a reply from Rentsmart who are putting the blame on PC World too !

Curry's PC World advised me to use RentSmart to buy two computers for my business. The vendor clearly had no idea what he was talking about. I was clearly foolish to trust them. Please don't make the same mistake. This will cost you a LOT of money. This is my first Trustpilot review because I feel so strongly about this.

Absolute shower. Absolute shower Totally conned into this 3 year scheme by rent smart and curries pc world. Im not stupid but I feel it at the moment, I dont know what I was thinking but if somebody sat in front of me and said ok so for the next 3 years you will pay us a total of £1500 for a laptop that is worth £800 and after 3 years you give it us back.....
