Within 24 hrs of taking Boniva I had extreme stomach pain - felt like I was being stabbed every 90 seconds. Heart palpitations, night sweats, vomiting, low blood pressure, dizziness , severe dehydration, severe constipation . Went to doctor the next day- had to have IV fluids. I agonized about taking this or any medication for bone density. I became menopausal at 40 and had a total thyroidectomy secondary to cancer.
