The CNSC was informed by NB Power that the reactor building at the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station was proactively evacuated due to a small increase in tritium levels. Qualified staff cleaned up a small amount of water, and employees were able to return to the reactor building.

I stayed as a stopping point on the way to Nova Scotia. I was greeted by the owner, who was very nice and provided information on local restaurants, etc. The hotel is older, but at the price point, I have no complaints. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I also found it to be quiet.
