Aug 09, 2008 · The star-rating on Hotwire is totally unreliable. One supposedly 4-star hotel wouldn't pass for a 3-star on Priceline. My other Hotwire stay was the last straw ---> a 3-star hotel in Fort Lauderdale that was the most horrible hotel I've ever stayed in. What upset me even more was Hotwire would only post good reviews for the hotel on it's website.
