The medical group I use (24 docs and 7 NPs) has just hooked up with Privia Medical Group. I’ve never heard of them. New billing practices were emailed: patients now have to put a credit card on file with Privia. Charges not covered by insurance would be charged to the card.

Privia does not do enough to train doctors offices how Privia's billing system works and therefore patients are usually misinformed by office staff. Rates of doctors offices go up after signing on with Privia to handle billing and therefore patients are usually very unhappy that their office is affiliated with Privia.2.4/5(9)
